iBC offer specialist support and bespoke accommodation to adults with complex care needs who may also present with behaviours described as challenging. We believe that everyone has the right to access tailored support and personalised environments within the community, no matter how complex their care needs may be.

iBC don’t manage complex care needs by means of containment or institutionalisation, we strive to empower people to reach and exceed their potential, to live a life they wish. We do this by positive risk taking, meaningful engagement and never just settling for baseline.

I have worked in Health and Social Care for over 25 years, beginning my career as a Support Worker and progressing through a variety of frontline, management, and leadership roles. This experience has given me a strong understanding of the sector from both an operational and strategic perspective, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by the people we support and the teams who work alongside them.

I am passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support that enables individuals to live independently and achieve positive outcomes. My approach is pragmatic, solution-focused, and collaborative, with a strong commitment to building effective partnerships with commissioners, housing providers, families, and other stakeholders.

Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to improving services, supporting teams to succeed, and ensuring that the people we support receive the best possible care, opportunities, and quality of life.

Hi! I’m Steph! I joined iBC in 2020 as a Registered Manager and have since progressed to Head of Operations. This journey has given me the opportunity to support a wide range of services, develop strong teams, and help improve the quality of care we provide.

In my current role, I oversee our residential care homes and day opportunities, making sure the people we support receive safe, high-quality, and person-centred care. I work closely with managers, staff teams, families, and other professionals to ensure our services meet the needs of the individuals we support and help them achieve their goals.

I am passionate about creating positive and inclusive environments where people feel valued, respected, and encouraged to live as independently as possible. Supporting staff is equally important to me, and I believe that investing in our teams helps us deliver the best outcomes for the people we support.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing people develop new skills, achieve personal goals, and become more confident and independent. Every achievement, big or small, is worth celebrating. I am excited about the future of iBC and the opportunity to continue growing and developing our services.
