Behind Our 100% Good and Outstanding Ratings
At iBC Healthcare, every service we run currently holds a Good or Outstanding rating from the CQC. As our portfolio grows, keeping that record isn’t down to chance. It comes from a clear set of priorities that shape everything we do.
We sat down with Jenny Payne, our CEO of iBC Healthcare and Anna Goscombe, our Director of Quality and Therapeutic Services, to talk about what drives this consistency and what makes our approach different.
What makes iBC different
Anna explained that what sets iBC apart is how innovative and forward thinking our approach to care really is. Rather than applying a standard model across every service, the team looks closely at what each person we support actually needs, and builds from there.
This shows up in the day to day. When quality is visible in the services we run, it has a real impact on the people living in them, and on the teams supporting them.
Adapting support as needs grow
A big part of maintaining Good and Outstanding ratings across a growing number of services is the ability to adapt. As the people we support have more complex needs, we have been able to provide more intensive support through specialist input, closer oversight and tailored planning.
Anna described how the team has really adapted its support model over time, shaping it around real experience rather than sticking to a fixed process. That flexibility, paired with consistent oversight, is what allows quality to hold steady even as the organisation expands.
A shared achievement
Reaching 100% Good or Outstanding across the portfolio is a genuine achievement, and one that reflects the work of teams across every service, not just those working directly in quality assurance. It’s a milestone we’re proud of, and one we’re committed to building on as we continue to grow.
