Service Manager

Day Services

Hi, I'm Kerry! I've worked in complex healthcare settings for over 17 years, and it's been a genuinely rewarding journey. Along the way I've built a foundation in patient care that goes well beyond textbook knowledge, learning to really listen, pick up on subtle cues, and provide comfort in ways that only come with experience. I've developed particular expertise in complex care, learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury, spinal injuries, and behaviours that challenge.

Currently I am the Day Service Manager, leading a large staff team that supports people day-to-day and making sure the service runs smoothly for everyone involved. This means balancing the operational side of compliance, standards of care and supporting other leaders, being available when things get difficult, and making sure the people we support are always at the centre of every decision we make.

Our day service is a fun and vibrant space that supports people with complex care needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge. Every day is built around person-centred activities designed to engage, stimulate, and bring joy, from music sessions and arts and crafts to sensory activities and trips out into the community. It's a warm, welcoming environment where the people we support and our staff build real relationships, and where care and fun go hand in hand.
